A man suspected to be involved in the disappearance of the 8 year old Tazne van Wyk, has been arrested.
The suspect was spotted in the Eastern Cape’s Craddock and was subsequently arrested by the local SAPS.
The suspect in custody is rumoured to be the 54 year old, Moehydien Pangaker, but police have not confirmed this as of yet.
Pangaker was the subject of a manhunt for the last two weeks, with several people claiming that they saw him in various provinces.
It is alleged that Tazne was last seen with Pangaker, who was out on parole at the time.
Tazne has however, not been found, leaving both her family and the community in distress.
The suspect is set to appear in the Cradock Magistrate’s Court soon.
